We believed solving this challenge would do more than help players find games — it would open up the joy of gaming to more people around the world than ever before.

AbleToPlay is all about empowering people to play their way. Accessibility benefits everyone, but for gamers with disabilities, it's an essential quality. We want to make it easier to find games that fit your needs and preferences.

Our Spark
AbleToPlay was started to solve a huge problem: how to help gamers with disabilities find games they can fully enjoy and experience.
Since meeting in college, founders Arman Nobari and Anthony Gibson shared a love of video games, barbecue, and coding projects.
During Arman's battle with cancer earlier in life, he experienced firsthand how games could provide a vital escape - yet his friends in the hospital struggled to find titles they could play. In the time since then, very little changed to make it easier. Finding accessible games was still a time-consuming, complex task.
Arman and Anthony knew they could create a better way to find games, that truly understood the needs of gamers with disabilities.
Our Journey
Along with a crew of Good Troublemakers, Arman and Anthony started to bring AbleToPlay to life.
Over the course of a year, they showed early previews to thousands of gamers, and saw how people from all over the world could easily discover great games to play - regardless of their accessibility needs. For many people trying AbleToPlay, it was the first time they could discover games without worrying or stressing.
AbleToPlay made it incredibly easy to know how well a game supported their needs and preferences, no matter how specific, empowering them to make an informed decision on whether or not to try a game out.
Our Values
Simply put, we believe in honesty above all else. Our founder Arman's journey as both a cancer survivor and gamer with disabilities taught him just how vital accurate accessibility information can be. We work with organizations like the World Institute on Disability to maintain rigorous standards in everything we do.
Games are better when everyone can play them. That's why we're building a space where gamers with disabilities lead the conversation about accessibility. Players can share their experiences, submit feedback or corrections, and add context about any game on AbleToPlay.
